This series is essentially about HOPE. When we live in divisive and uncertain times, I believe it is important to focus on the qualities which make us unique. To celebrate our differences, not to abhor them. Humans weren't made to live as automatons. Born to conform and judge; forced into monotonous enduring occupations, in order to survive. The wonder of our individuality locked away behind secrets and shame. Made to feel powerless. Here we are living on this magnificent, spinning breathing planet, hurling through space; and the ones in power teach us that our self-worth is based on the breadth of plastic we consume, comparing our lives to each other. Abandoned and neglected. Left feeling inadequate by an insidious media machine; kept in place by greedy, complacent megalomaniacs. Imagine if every human was guaranteed 'Equality, Liberation, Safety & Freedom' and the opportunity to be our authentic selves. Maybe then, our connectivity and community would burst open like a spectacular brilliant light of awareness, instead of being repressed into a resentful heap of hate, conflict, fear, and derision. Would it then be possible to witness the beauty, potential, and strength of our biodiversity? The choice to be able to live our shared life experience of an ever-evolving family of collective people.
